COLD SPOON CAFE

The owners of The Cold Spoon Cafe’ purchased this fire-damaged building in 2012. Due to the extensive fire damage and blight, the owners were given 120 days to renovate the building or it would be torn down. With the gentrification throughout Detroit and its downtown, the owners saw that in their neighborhood there was not a quaint and welcoming place to enjoy fresh baked goods, ice cream, or coffee.
